Dragon Ball Super, Of Course"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The new Dragon Ball Super movie premieres this weekend, and expectations are that Crunchyroll&#8217;s first global release will <a title=\"DBZ, anime's gateway drug.\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2022\/08\/idris-elba-beast-dragon-ball-super-super-hero-box-office-1235094331\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">take the top spot at the box office<\/a>. This seems bizarre; but it is probably a mix of the weak box office lineup and the rise in popularity of anime.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/GohanPowerUp.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3192 size-medium\" title=\"Such a disappointment you are, a badass nerd.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/GohanPowerUp-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/GohanPowerUp-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/GohanPowerUp-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/GohanPowerUp-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/GohanPowerUp.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then again, considering the recent success of other anime movies combined with the Dragon Ball brand, perhaps it makes sense. I&#8217;m not sure I&#8217;ll watch it in the theaters, but it is on my radar so I&#8217;m hopeful I get to watch it sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n<p>As a side note, I finally watched the Broly movie. Meh&#8230; at least story wise. The visuals were definitely solid.
