Until now it predominantly aired dramas, which is odd since everybody knows that is TNT&#8217;s bag &#8211; after all, they <em>know<\/em> drama.<\/p>\n<p>FX already has one of my favorite shows in <a title=\"Finally getting the ratings it deserves.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fxnetworks.com\/shows\/originals\/sunny\/\" target=\"_blank\">It&#8217;s Always Sunny In Philadelphia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/Charlie.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-277 aligncenter\" title=\"This pic always cracks me up\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/Charlie-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"This pic always cracks me up\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/Charlie-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/Charlie.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As a side note, the new season premieres September 17 (insert giddy school girl laugh here).<\/p>\n<p>Recently, FX has worked on getting new comedies to complement Sunny and build its comedic schedule. One show of note, is &#8220;Louie&#8221; &#8211; which stars the hilarious <a title=\"Deemed funny enough for Dane Cook to steal his material\" href=\"http:\/\/www.louisck.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Louis C.K.<\/a> He also will serve as executive producer, writer, and director of the series. The show is expected to come out in early 2010. An interesting side note: Louis C.K. portrayed Brendon Small&#8217;s estranged father in <a title=\"Left us too soon.\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Home_Movies_(cartoon_series)\" target=\"_blank\">Home Movies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of animated shows (one that was on Cartoon Network), another show that FX has greenlit is <a title=\"A Flash show not on Adult Swim? Okay.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thrfeed.com\/2009\/07\/fx-archer-animated-comedy.html\" target=\"_blank\">Archer<\/a>. It&#8217;s creator is Adam Reed who co-created Adult Swim shows Sealab 2021 and Frisky Dingo. The cast is pretty stellar, including H. Jon Benjamin (the Home Movies comment earlier seems that much cooler now, doesn&#8217;t it?), Chris Parnell, and two Arrested Development alums: Jessica Walter (Lucille Bluth) and Judy Greer (Kitty). FX ordered 6 episodes of Archer, which should air this fall.
