So while\u00a0I&#8217;m not big into pranks, <a title=\"You Know, Gullible Isn't In The Dictionary.\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Taco_Liberty_Bell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this one was pretty\u00a0good<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/libertybell.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-191  aligncenter\" title=\"I Heard Paddy's Pub Had A Hand In Creating The Crack\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/libertybell.jpg\" alt=\"I Heard Paddy's Pub Had A Hand In Creating The Crack\" width=\"222\" height=\"397\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/libertybell.jpg 222w, https:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/libertybell-167x300.jpg 167w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 222px) 100vw, 222px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For those of you that don&#8217;t\u00a0remember, Taco Bell ran an\u00a0ads in several major newspapers\u00a0stating they were helping out the economy by purchasing the rights to the Liberty Bell (and decided to rename it to the Liberty Taco Bell). Needless to say, a lot of people complained about this travesty.\u00a0 Eventually Taco Bell came clean, but not before hundreds of media outlets (both print and media) ran the story. The end result, a temporary boost in sales over the next few days.<\/p>\n<p>This was genius &#8211; not only was it comical, but financially successful.\u00a0 The sad thing is, the\u00a0ad wizards went from this idea to\u00a0their so many horrible tv ads (&#8216;wanna go clubbing?&#8221;).\u00a0 Ugh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Personally, I am not a huge fan of April Fools&#8217; Day, but I do like Taco Bell.
