Same as the movie, the starring Lantern will be Hal Jordan (and not the awesome <a title=\"I think he's also a comedian.\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/John_Stewart_%28comics%29\" target=\"_blank\">John Stewart<\/a>). Frankly, it seems odd that this show didn&#8217;t premiere closer to the release of the movie. Yet again, after the movie&#8217;s reviews perhaps this was intentional.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/GreenLantern.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1053 aligncenter\" title=\"Are these the same designers as Clone Wars?\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/GreenLantern-300x167.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"167\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/GreenLantern-300x167.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pivisuals.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/GreenLantern.jpg 576w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t say I&#8217;m a fan of the character design. It seems like a cheap knock off to <a title=\"Oh Brad Bird, Where Art Thou\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Incredibles_%28film%29\" target=\"_blank\">The Incredibles<\/a>. Still, the prospect of a 3D animated series can lend itself to some cool things&#8230; if done well. Plus, if the writing and story is solid, people will overlook the subpar visuals. Still, between the poor design and having Hal Jordan as the lead &#8211; they certainly have their work cut out for them. We&#8217;ll see how things look after the premiere.<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE: So apparently this past Friday was just a &#8216;Sneak Peak&#8217; into the series. The premiere isn&#8217;t slated until Spring of next year.
