April 17, 2009 : Video Blog
Don’t worry, I am not planning on doing a video blog – so you can breathe a huge sigh of relief. However, a friend decided to start one up on his regular blog. It’s entertaining and worth a look.
After watching it, I realized how difficult a good video blog can be to make. Too many people ramble on incoherently just because they want to be heard – just check You Tube. However, one that is well thought (and edited appropriately afterwards) can be really insightful and fun to watch.
A perfect example was one I saw about an independent filmmaker trying to get his animation film financed/produced. The content in each post is an update on his trek to getting his movie made, and it is very well edited to keep it entertaining. Plus, the subject matter is pretty interesting.
And yes, I do realize it is a link to You Tube, even though the previous paragraph mentioned how that site has so many horrible video blogs… so don’t bother pointing it out.
